As there is a relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility performance in the eyes of consumers and the effect it has on the strength of a company`s brand that it will do little good to the company then, to hurt its already build brand with poor choice in corporate social responsibility
Even the smallest company impacts social change by making a simple donation to a local food bank. Some of the most common examples of CSR include: Reducing carbon footprints. Improving labor policies. Participating in fairtrade. Charitable giving. Volunteering in the community.
For these reasons, human rights advocates have found that CSR is not up to the task of preventing harm to people. Out of this dissatisfaction, the business and human rights (BHR) movement emerged.
