What's the difference between photo and video

The key creative difference between photography and video is how we convey motion. In photography we can choose to freeze it or we can choose to enhance it using a slow shutter speed. In video, motion is an integral part of the shot – without it, we just have a photograph.

Why photos are better than videos?

Photos grab attention and load quickly. They're an essential addition to written content and enhance the user experience. They may not be as dynamic as videos, but they are far more practical, not to mention easier to find or create.

Is video just photo?

Videos shot with cameras are basically bunches of photos if you reduce them down to their still images. However, there have also been entire movies put together with animation, a process where an artist either draws the necessary images by hand or uses a computer to create three-dimensional models.

Does photo or video look better?

If you've always felt that you look more attractive in videos than you do in photographs, you're not alone. A recent study done by researchers at UC Davis and Harvard has found that subjects generally find video footage of people more attractive than stills showing the same face.

What are photos and videos called?

Media or multimedia is fine.
