Which credit bureau is typically highest

Although Experian is the largest credit bureau in the U.S., TransUnion and Equifax are widely considered to be just as accurate and important. When it comes to credit scores, however, there is a clear winner: FICO® Score is used in 90% of lending decisions.

Is it better to have higher TransUnion or Equifax?

Neither score is more or less accurate than the other; they're only being calculated from slightly differing sources. Your Equifax credit score is more likely to appear lower than your TransUnion one because of the reporting differences, but a fair score from TransUnion is typically fair across the board.

Is TransUnion or Experian higher?

That's true even if each bureau uses the same credit scoring method. Also understand that not all creditors report to all three bureaus. If a collection shows up on Experian, but not the other two bureaus, you Experian credit score will be lower than your TransUnion and Equifax scores.
