Which d do you drive in

For standard driving use D only. If on very steep incline/decline or towing a vehicle down a hill use D2 or D3.

Should I drive in D3 or D4?

D3 is suitable for ascending or descending hills and is the best gear position for stop-and-go situations. D4 is more suitable for all conditions and has a higher speed than D3. The D3 may not be suitable for highway driving, but the D4 is suitable for both town and highway driving.

Should I drive in D3 or D2 or L?

D3 is generally used for city driving, while D2 or L is generally used for off-road driving or when you need to drive through a steep road.

Should I drive in D or DS?

As we have mentioned above, D mode is the normal driving mode, with everything being the way it should be. In other words, it's the mode with auto-shift. You should use it while driving.

Is it OK to drive on D3?

You would only use D3 while going downhill with a load so you can use your brakes less. Your mileage would be worse since the engine is running at a higher rpm. Only if you did a lot of using D3 would it make any appreciable wear on your transmission. Save this answer.
