What are the different types of loneliness?
One type of loneliness can be referred to as situational or transitional loneliness. When you move to a new city, change a job, or even end a long-term relationship, you might feel a little lost. This adjustment period can cause you to feel lonely.
What is emotional loneliness?
This type of loneliness arises from a feeling that you lack relationships or attachments. You might experience emotional loneliness when everyone but you has a romantic partner in your group. Emotional loneliness can be felt when you need someone to talk to about something going on in your life, but feel that there is no one available to contact.
What is the loneliness test?
The loneliness test is made up of two parts: the first measures how lonely you feel and the second measures how happy you are with your social life. The results will tell you how lonely you are on a scale from 0 to 100, with 100 being very lonely. The quiz also provides a list of factors that may contribute to your loneliness.
