Are Chevrolets still made in Canada?
Chevrolets have been built and sold in Canada since before the brand was part of General Motors - even before GM of Canada existed. But the only bow-tie model still produced here is the Equinox. It’s built in the CAMI plant, originally a GM/Suzuki joint venture, in Ingersoll, Ontario, about half-way between Toronto and Detroit.
Are there any hybrid vehicles made in Canada?
Currently only two HV s are manufactured in Canada: the Chrysler Pacifica hybrid minivan and the Lexus RX 450 hybrid. Fully electric vehicles at the consumer level are not made here yet. This creates a supply problem, though.
