Is Tesla CCS adapter worth it?
For me, the CCS adapter will be worth it in about 9 months time of using the CCS charge stall. I plan on using only that stall from now on and getting a full charge in about 2 hours or less. This is well worth it to me and means I don't need to leave my car at Harmon's for many hours at a time.
How do I know if my Tesla is CCS compatible?
NOTE: Not all Tesla vehicles are equipped with CCS charging capability. To determine if your vehicle is compatible, touch Controls > Software > Additional Vehicle Information on the touchscreen, or contact Tesla.
Is CCS1 and CCS2 compatible?
As a port, CCS2 is backwards compatible to CCS1. You can take a CCS1 (J1772) cable and plug it into a car with a CCS2 port. And yes, the J1772 (CCS1) is by far the standard connector in the US market.
