For all travellers entering Canada by air, land or marine mode on or after October 1, 2022:
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
- COVID-19 pre-entry and arrival tests are not required.
- Quarantine after you enter Canada is not required.
- Using ArriveCAN is not required.
What kind of Covid test is required to enter Canada?
Currently, all travelers to Canada must show a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test result, taken no more than one day before their departure.
Do you need to get a Covid test before entering Canada?
Travellers coming from any country other than the U.S. in the past 14 days should be prepared to take an arrival test and quarantine at a suitable place (such as your home) until you receive a negative Day 1 test result.
