Capital One is required to report accurately and conduct reasonable investigations of disputes. We will investigate your dispute using the information provided, and respond within 30 days of receiving the dispute.

Can I dispute a charge with Capital One online?

The easiest way to do this is online. If you don't have online access, you can easily enroll on our online banking page. If the transaction was authorized but you have a concern with the service or product, you can try to resolve your dispute directly with the merchant.

Does Capital One refund money if scammed?

Find the status of your claim and what to expect with receiving your refund. A temporary credit will typically be granted within 10 business days so that you have use of the funds while the investigation is ongoing. Please allow 45-90 calendar days for final determination on your claim.
