Car insurance optional extras

There is a range of different extras to choose from such as breakdown cover, No Claims Bonus protection, and excess insurance cover. You don't have to include every add-on, but some may be useful and offer you peace of mind depending on the level of cover you want.

Modifications to the engine or vehicle mechanics – such as the exhaust system, transmission, or air filter – must definitely be declared to your insurance provider. If you have added a turbo or supercharger to your engine, for example, it can increase the risk of accident, which will affect the cost of your premium.

A zero dep cover is an add-on in car insurance under which we won't charge you for depreciation during the claim settlement. In simple words, you are not required to pay for the depreciation cost while making a claim. A comprehensive policy provides coverage for own damage and damages caused to the third party.
