CARE International’s #March4Women is a global movement for gender equality. It’s a celebration of the power and the potential of women and girls around the world, to mark International Women’s Day (8th March). It’s a rallying cry for anyone and everyone who wants to see a more equal world
What does care do?
CARE has supported women-centered leadership, design and delivery of response and recovery policies. We seek to implement gender-responsive, locally-led and economic-efficient programs around the globe. of the direct participants of our programs are women and girls. of our staff members are from the country where they work.
What does care do in the developing world?
CARE's programmes in the developing world address a broad range of topics including emergency response, food security, water and sanitation, economic development, climate change, agriculture, education, and health. CARE also advocates at the local, national, and international levels for policy change and the rights of poor people.
