Is the CRB still available?
CRB ended on October 23, 2021 If you are eligible, you can only apply for open CRB periods, up to 60 days after each period has ended. The last period for the CRB is period 28 (October 10 to 23, 2021) which will be open for application until December 22, 2021. Find out which periods are still open for application.
How do I qualify for Canada recovery benefits?
Through CRB, you can receive $1,000 ($900 after taxes withheld) per 2-week period for up to 26 weeks (13 eligibility periods between September 27, 2020 and September 25, 2021.) CRB applications are open through the CRA portal, and you need to reapply every two weeks.
How long does CRB last?
There are two ways to apply for CERB: Over the phone through an automated phone service: 1-800-959-2019 or 1-800-959-2041. Both of these services are available 21 hours a day, 7 days a week.
