What is our immediate care plan?

What is our Immediate Care Plan? Our Immediate Care Plan (ICP) is also known as an Immediate Needs Annuity. It’s a financial plan that makes a regular, set benefit payment for the remainder of the client’s life - however long they live. As the benefit payment is made directly to a Registered Care Provider, it’s paid tax-free*.

Who should complete the Care Certificate?

Although primarily developed for workers that are new to the care sector with no previous experience, employers may decide that other staff members should also complete the Care Certificate as part of their professional development. Is the Care Certificate a recognised qualification?

What is the CQC's position on the Care Certificate?
