Instagram is already an incredibly popular social media platform with over 1 billion monthly active users. But within the platform is a newer feature, Instagram Reels, which allows users to share 15–60 second multi-clip videos with audio and different effects – similar to TikTok.
TikTok's competitors include Clash, Triller, Dubsmash, Instagram, Byte, Funimate, Lomotif, Cheez, Vigo Video, KWAI, Likee, Firework, and VideoShow. While the platform has seen astronomical growth since coming onto the scene in 2018, social media platforms come and go all the time.
