The average calculation is called your pre-injury average weekly earnings (PIAWE). For the first 13 weeks of weekly payments you are paid at 95% of your average earnings. From the 14th to the 130th weeks you are paid at 80% of the average. If you are entitled to payments beyond 130 weeks, you are paid at the 80% rate.
