What does WorkSafe do when an independent medical opinion is challenged?
- WorkSafe informed the injured worker of the apology and the scope of WorkSafe’s ability to intervene where independent medical opinions are being challenged. The injured worker was advised of their rights to appeal to conciliation as the appropriate body to consider these types of disputes.
