At some top UK universities, their one-year MBA programme can be tens of thousands of pounds more expensive than a one-year business-related MSc.
While there are some MSc courses that can provide a wider view of business function (the precursor to the MBA was the MSc in Commerce), overall, they are more focused in their curriculum than MBAs are. An MSc allows an individual to develop specialised skills and knowledge in one particular area.
