What is the patient access policy?
- The Patient Access Policy sets out the Trust’s local access policy and takes account of guidance from the Department of Health and NHS England.
What happens to patients on the NHS waiting list when posted?
- They should retain their relative position on any NHS waiting list, if moved around the UK due to the service person being posted. In line with clinical policy, patients with more urgent clinical needs will continue to receive clinical priority.
