It is a survey course, which means you will have the opportunity to learn a little from lots of different areas of psychology. PSYC 1F90 can be used as a Social Science Context Credit (see here for more information about Context Credits). PSYC 1F90 is required for all Psychology majors and for some programs other than psychology.

One 3-credit, standard grade PSY 39000 can be used in the PSY Minor, the Psychological Sciences Major, or the Brain & Behavioral Science Major. After the 4th week of the Fall/Spring semester, students may not register for a 3-credit PSY 39000 without special permission from the Department of Psychological Sciences.
