  • What is the concept of System Thinking?

Systems thinking looks at connected wholes rather than separate parts.
Systems thinkers are curious, have open minds, are good listeners and seek out root causes.
A systems thinker tries to expand the range of options available for solving a problem.

  • How do you introduce systems thinking?

Several effective strategies for teaching systems thinking have been identified by Cutting Edge and InTeGrate workshop participants, including using:

    1Computer modeling including Stella.
    2) Inquiry using multiple representations.
    3) Role-playing.

  • What is the summary of systems thinking?

    The Systems Thinking Approach
This means that instead of isolating smaller and smaller parts of the system being studied, systems thinking works by expanding its view to take into account larger and larger numbers of interactions as an issue is being studied.

  • Systemic thinking, or systems thinking, is a comprehensive analytical approach to understanding how different elements interact within a system or structure.
Systems thinking requires a local, multi-perspective, participatory and iterative approach to be effective. A systemic approach provides a suitable environment for good policy / decision making.
