The laboratory comprises 6 interacting research groups that deal with almost all aspects of electrochemical energy storage and conversion. PSI’s Electrochemistry Laboratory is Switzerland’s largest Center for Electrochemical Research. 13. - 14.
In summary, it should be an intensified quest for the development of physicochemical models that mathematically describe the behavior of electrochemical systems and cannot be treated under general models already proposed. Thus, electrochemistry in the future should attach and strive for a more fundamental understanding of electrode processes.
Future advances in technology and instrumentation should be readily adopted by electrochemistry to extend the capabilities of electroanalytical techniques already developed.
