To default to Google, here’s how you do it: Click the Tools icon at the far right-hand side of the browser window. Select Internet options . In the General tab, find the Search section and click Settings . Select Google . Click Set as default and click Close .
How to set the default page for your website from WebsitePanel. Log in to the WebsitePanel. Click on your customer name. Click on Web -> Web sites . Click on the website name. Enter the default web page name in the Default Documents list and set it as per the priority e.g. test.html. Click on Update.
Change your home page. In Internet Explorer 11, select Tools > Internet options. On the General tab, under Home page, type the URL of the site you want to set as a home page. You can add more than one URL, or add the site you're currently viewing by selecting Use current. If you add more than one URL, put each URL on its own line.
