We must say thank you all for your continued support of our Surveying and Geomatics Sciences Program. The ABET team's visit did certainly see the necessary and continued support that the ASPLS provide to the Program. It is creditable that the Program has such a support, which provides the linkage of academics to the professional world. The faculty and administration will continue to strive to develop and grow the Program. Your continued support is welcome. Please feel free to visit us at our new location on the 3rd floor in
Wallace Hall.
There are
more structured classrooms and office space at this new location. A special call for our Alabama Land Surveyors to visit our Program, especially to hire Geomatics students for summer Co -Ops as well as graduates for full-time positions. Lastly, we would like to take this opportunity to make a call for any assistance in recruiting new students into our Program. Our faculty and Troy University have been doing an amazing job in recruiting new students. An steady increase in total number of geomatics students has been seen in the recent years; however, we would like to request more assistance from the ASPLS to visit their local High Schools and Community Co lleges and to introduce Survey Profession and Troy Geomatics Program to prospective students. Your assistance is appreciated. Should you need any recruiting materials from us, let us know. Our contact information is:
