  • How much baggage is allowed in Air Canada?

    Air Canada's (AC) standard checked baggage / hold luggage policy details follow: 1 bag standard. Maximum dimensions: 62 inches or 158 centimeters (length + width + height) Maximum weight: 50 pounds or 23 kilograms.

  • Does Air Canada allow 2 baggage?

    A first bag fee of $75.00 applies to Economy Basic fares and Aeroplan Standard Rewards. The fee for a second bag is $100.00.

  • What happens if your luggage is over 23kg?

    Overweight baggage
    The maximum weight in Premium and Economy is 23kg per bag. If yours are heavier than that, you'll need to pay an overweight baggage fee at the airport. In Upper Class the maximum weight is 32kg per bag.
  • The airline states that ”baggage allowances may vary according to route and cabin class; please check the exact baggage regulations printed on your ticket”. As for checked baggage, economy passengers are allowed between 20kg and 35kg depending on the fare option.
