4. Clinical particulars Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis Cream is suitable for the short-term treatment and control of patches of eczema and dermatitis including atopic eczema and primary irritant and allergic dermatitis. This product is suitable for use in adults and children aged 12 years or older.

What is Eumovate used for?

Eumovate may be used as maintenance therapy between courses of one of the more potent topical steroids. Creams are especially appropriate for moist or weeping surfaces.

Does Eumovate contain clobetasone butyrate?

EUMOVATE contains clobetasone butyrate. Clobetasone butyrate is a topical corticosteroid. It is used to control inflammation on the skin. EUMOVATE works to stop the skin’s over- reaction to the triggers that cause skin flare ups. It suppresses the inflammation that causes eczema or dermatitis.

Is Eumovate cream poisonous?

In case of accidental ingestion, professional assistance should be sought or a national poison control centre contacted immediately (se e section 4.9 ). Eumovate Cream contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis) and chlorocresol which may cause allergic reactions.
