2005 portant organisation du MINEDUB, la
Division de la planification, des Projets et de
la Coopération (DPPC) est chargée de actualisation ; de la centralisation et du traitement des données statistiques ; de la systèmes éducatifs ; de la mise en place ; de la normalisation des documents de collecte.Direction des Ressources Humaines (DRH)
travers le SIGIPES. La présente note décrit les étapes de production des données de la carte scolaire ainsi que les unités (établissements scolaires) qui ont été recensées. Elle revientégalement sur la méthodologie qui a conduit
à la confection des questionnaires utilisés dans le cadre dudit recensement et décrit le processus de collecte des données proprement dit sur le terrain ainsi que le rôle des principaux acteurs impliqués. LeSchéma du circuit de production des
données statistiques scolaires auMINEDUBretrace chronologiquement les
différents services du ministère (au niveau central et déconcentré) impliqués dans cette tâche de production. En conséquence, les utilisateurs pourront à travers les collecte, les outils de saisie, de traitement et difficultés relevées, comprendre, évaluer et utiliser à bon escient les informations contenues dans le présent annuaire statistique. Les opérations de collecte des données sur le terrain qui ont conduit à la confection de ce présent annuaire statistique nationalont mobilisé près de 20231 agents de coordination départementale
et 34 superviseurs nationaux et régionaux.Following Decree No 2005/140 of 25
April 2005 to organize the Ministry of
Basic Education, the Department of
Planning, Projects and Cooperation is
responsible for drawing up and updating the school map; centralizing and processing statistical records; collecting data on various education systems; putting in place a databank; and normalizing the data collected. Other services of the Ministry of BasicEducation including the Department of
Human Resources are responsible for the
management of data relating to State personnel through SIGIPES.These notes outline the various phases of
the school map data production and define respondent units (school establishments). They also review the methodology which led to the drawing up of the questionnaires used within the framework of the survey and describe both the data collection process itself on the field, and the role of each actor involved. An outline of the school statistical records production circuit inMINEDUB gives a chronological list of
the various services of the Ministry (at central and devolved levels) involved in that production endeavour.Consequently, with the metadata
concerning the organization of the data collection, entry tools, processing, and analysis tools, and through the difficulties mentioned, users will be able to understand, assess and properly use the information contained in this statistical yearbook.About 20 000 Headteachers, 231
divisional coordination officers, and 34 national and regional supervisors were involved in the operation that resulted in the production of this national statistical yearbook.1 Production stages of data relating to

scolaire comprend les étapes suivantes : (i) la conception et/ou la révision des outils de collecte, (ii) la formation des responsables des services déconcentrés en charge de la carte scolaire au remplissage des questionnaires, (iii) la ventilation des questionnaires, (iv) la collecte des données, (v) la vérification et le contrôle des données, (ix) la diffusion et la publication des2- unités recensées :
La campagne de collecte dure un mois et se
déroule simultanément sur l'ensemble des 10 régions du pays. Les unités enquêtées sont les structures scolaires du système formel et laïques, privées confessionnel ou communautaires implantées sur le territoire primaires, des écoles maternelles, des centres préscolaires communautaires, à spécialisées. Ce recensement est destiné à évaluer la structures organisées intervenant dans le les Centres Préscolaires CommunautairesNon Formelle (CEBNF) ont été aussi
recensés et leurs statistiques prises en effective. De même, les écoles privées laïques fonctionnelles, mais sans par le Ministère de tutelle ont aussi été recensées et leurs statistiques prises en laïc.3- la collecte des données sur le terrain The production stages of the school
statistical records are as follows: (i) the conception and/or the revision of collection tools, (ii) the training of officials of the devolved services responsible for school mapping in the way to complete the questionnaires, (iii) the dispatch of the questionnaires, (iv) the collection of data, (v) the verification and crosschecking of data, (vi) the entry, compilation and reconciling of data, (vii) the analysis of data, and (viii) the dissemination and publication of statistical yearbooks and review reports.2- Respondent units:
The data collection campaign lasts for
one month and takes places simultaneously throughout the 10 regions of the country. Respondent units are school structures of both the formal and non formal systems placed under theMinistry of Basic Education all over the
territory, be they government, lay private, denominational or community schools.Concretely speaking, they are primary
schools, government teacher training colleges, nursery schools, community preschool centres, excluding infant day cares and specialized schools.The survey aims at assessing the actual
education demand. Organized structures dealing with non formal education such as Community Preschool Centres (CPCs) or Non Formal Basic Education Centres (NFBECs) were included in the survey and their statistics taken into accounts in the evaluation of the actual demand. Lay private schools effectively functioning even without being officially authorized to open were equally investigated and their data included in the evaluation of the lay private sector.3- Data collection on field
The collection is carried out using
questionnaires dispatched in schools through focal points of the PlanningUnits, Regional Delegations, and Sub-

collecte et précise les rôles et les responsabilités de chacun des acteurs. intervenant dans la chaîne de production des données statistiques, une campagne de sensibilisation et de formation est tenue dans les chefs lieux de région et regroupe outre le Délégué Régional, les DéléguésDépartementaux, les Secrétaires à

Les informations sont collectées par niveau
Deux types de
questionnaire sont utilisés correspondant des outils de collecte pour lepréscolaire(niveau 02 de la CITE 2011) et du primaire (niveau 1).Les questionnaires du recensement scolaire

Data are collected per teaching level. Two
types of questionnaires are used; they correspond to the three teaching levels managed by the Ministry of BasicEducation. They are tools designed for
preschool, and primary.Survey questionnaires designed for the
