  • What are the speaking test questions?

The CEFR organises language proficiency in six levels, A1 to C2, which can be regrouped into three broad levels: Basic User, Independent User and Proficient User, and that can be further subdivided according to the needs of the local context.
The levels are defined through 'can-do' descriptors.

  • What is the CEFR speaking scale?

The C1 Advanced Speaking test has four parts and you take it together with another candidate.
    There are two examiners.
One of the examiners conducts the test (asks you questions, gives you the paper with things to talk about, and so on).
The other examiner listens to what you say and takes notes.

  • What is the speaking test for C1?

In this first part of the Speaking test, the examiner will ask you questions about topics such as family life, daily routines, or how you spend your free time.
Who do you spend your free time with? How much time do you spend at home? Is it easy to meet new people where you live? (Why? / Why not?)12 sept. 2023
