Compared to the overall acceptance rate of USC, the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism was more selective in its admission than its parent school. In the fall of 2022, USC Annenberg had a total undergraduate population of 1,305 students, with 740 studying communication, 336 studying journalism, and 229 studying public relations.
