How do I Configure my Fronius DataManager card?
- Important:Connect your Wi-Fi enabled device to the Wi-Fi network which will be used to configure your Fronius Datamanager card. Ensure you can successfully connect to the internet by opening a web page in your web browser. This step is applicable only if you are using a Wi-Fi enabled modem.
How do I send a service message to Fronius datamanger?
- On the web interface, navigate to “Settings” --> “Fronius Solar.web”. In this menu, activate the function “Send service message to Fronius Solar.web immediately”. The Fronius Datamanger web interface cannot be accessed via a Wifi access point or LAN.
Is the DataManager DNS based or based on the Fronius server IP addresses?
- If a firewall configuration or rule is necessary in order for the Datamanager to communicate to Solar.web, it is recommended to have this DNS based and not based on the Fronius Server IP addresses as they could change over time. The IP addresses have not changed until now, nevertheless we cannot guarantee that this will never happen in the future.
