Biomedical engineering course duration

In order to obtain the dual major in Biomedical Engineering, the student will have to obtain, in parallel, a major in one of the fundamental engineering programs, plus 24 credit hours of course work, including:

The biomedical engineering design experience is integrated in the curriculum throughout the four years of study, starting in the freshman year with the Global Challenges in Engineering and Introduction to Biomedical Engineering courses.

A degree in biomedical engineering provides students with a strong foundation in engineering, mathematics, chemistry and biology and teaches them how to solve complex engineering problems in medicine.
Rigorous lecture courses provide students the knowledge necessary to s쳮d in biomedical engineering careers, medical school and graduate school.
