Boiler and Pressure Vessel Application Processing timelines

We are experiencing delays in processing design registration applications, including expedited services, due to capacity constraints and higher than normal volume of requests.
Standard fee applications are currently taking less than 60 days to process.
1) Expedited processing options are temporarily suspended so that we can address the current volu.

Overview

Boilers and pressure equipment, as defined in the Safety Standards Act and Regulations require design registration in accordance to CSA B51 “Boiler, Pressure Vessel, and Pressure Piping Code.”
