Botany Downs welcomes enrolments at all levels to students living within our school zone.
We do not offer out-of-zone placements.
Children are entitled to start school the day they have their fifth birthday.
Our enrolment pack includes ,a wide range of information on all aspects of the school and community, and is available from the school office.

Why is it called Botany Downs?

Botany Downs was the name of a farm leased by Vern Carr from James Wilson.
Carr named the farm after Botany Road.
The "Downs" in the name was not a reference to the geography of the area, instead a reference to the economics of farming in the 1950s and 1960s.
