2021-2022 NYS FBLA Competitive Events Guidelines Page 13 PRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVE TEST EVENTS Overview These events consist of two parts:

  • a production test administered and proctored at a designated school-site prior to the SLC
  • and a 60-minute objective test administered onsite at Participantsthe SLC.

    • What are the requirements for FBLA-PBL?

    • The speech must be of a business nature and must be developed from one or more of the FBLA- PBL goals. • When delivering the speech, competitors may use notes prepared before the event. • No other reference materials such as:

  • visual aids or electronic devices may be brought to or used during the event preparation or presentation.

    • What is the eligibility to participate in the FBLA national competition?

    This event consists of two parts, an objective test and an individual role play.
    A 60-minute objective test will be administered onsite at the SLC.
    Eligibility Each chapter may register one (1) individual.
    Competitors must have paid FBLA national and state dues by 11:59 p.m.
    Eastern Time on January 28, 2022.
