How do I apply for an MBA at Sacramento State?

Sacramento State current students or graduates:

  • only submit transcripts not previously submitted to the university or from institutions attended after graduation.

    Supplemental Application Materials.
    Two letters of recommendation.
    Copies of official transcripts.

    • How do I declare business as a minor in Sacramento State?

    The students must meet the impaction criteria found at:

  • Impacted Major Information | Sacramento State (csus.edu) Students who are declared in another major and wish to declare business as their minor, must file a Minor Request Petition.
    Students must complete and return these petitions to the Undergraduate Business Advising Center, Tahoe Hall 1030.

    • What are the requirements for a business major at Sac State?

    At least one of the 3 courses must be an approved "Writing Intensive" course.
    All lower division and upper division business courses must be passed with a C- or better with the exception of MATH 24 which requires a minimum acceptable grade of “C”.
    Students whose Sac State or overall GPA falls below 2.0 may be disqualified from the business major.
