Business informatics center

The Business Information Center exists to help and/or strengthen entrepreneurial small business endeavors throughout the Sacramento County by providing access to information, tools, and guidance needed to ensure successes.
Sacramento Works’ BIC services are provided free of charge or at low cost.

The Center for Biomedical Informatics (CBMI) is focused on improving health care through informatics.
We develop and apply health information technology solutions to generate knowledge about health, disease and treatment, help clinicians make optimal decisions, empower patients, and inform healthcare policy.

The system is developed jointly by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and National Informatics Centre and it was launched by the Government of India in December 2009 in collaboration with States/UTs.
It is an innovative application of the information technology directed towards improving the efficiency of maternal and child health services.

Business Informatics, a word formation from economics (science) and computer science, deals with the ICT systems (information and communication systems) used in business

Information systems are systems for processing information, which means that information is retrieved, transformed (processed), stored, and made visible and accessible to users

The Clinical Informatics Center leverages the knowledge from research and experience in biomedical informatics, data sciences, social sciences, clinical sciences, and other domains for the generation of informatics-based products or services to improve quality and safety of patient care and the health of people in general
