Vinod Gupta is an Indian-American businessman, investor, and philanthropist.
He is the former chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman of infoGROUP.
Gupta served as CEO of infoGROUP from the time of its incorporation in 1972 until September 1997, and again from August 1998 to August 2008.
Gupta has donated over $50 million to numerous philanthropic endeavors in the United States and India.
