People who identify as socially disadvantaged feel they are not treated well in the community.
There is an ongoing negative stereo-typing of people who live in the Mount Druitt area.

In 2016, there were 7,840 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Mount Druitt Precinct, compared with 30,788 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).

Must be a Blacktown LGA resident, however priority will be given to Mt Druitt Precinct Residents.
Must be aged 16-25 years old and at risk of long-term unemployment for employability programs.
Youth with significant long term AOD issues unless they are also receiving counselling and have significant social support networks.

There are two other facilities on the complex, Geoffrey Pearce Correctional Centre and Dillwynia Correctional Centre
