Community corrections upper hutt

We currently manage 93 pensioner units in Upper Hutt.
We also manage 115 pensioner units in Levin, Foxton and Shannon.
In addition to managing day-to-day maintenance and tenancy requirements, we also provide additional resident services including:

The elected Council meets on a six weekly cycle and is responsible for community leadership and setting the policy direction for Upper Hutt City.
In undertaking its democratic activities the Council strives to have a fully informed community, a majority of which is satisfied with the elected Council’s performance.

Corrections Minister Peseta Sam Lotu-Iiga today officially opened the refurbished Upper Hutt Community Corrections site.
Mr Lotu-Iiga says the improvements will benefit staff, visitors and community-based offenders who report to the site.

Recently approved by both the Capital & Coast DHB and Hutt Valley DHB Boards, the new outpatient unit will be located on the Hutt Valley Health Hub on Lower Hutt’s Witako Street.

Police have been making enquiries into the prison in Upper Hutt since 2020 and have passed on information to Corrections which identified 10 staff, including management, whose alleged actions were of concern

Of the 10, one has already resigned and five are on special leave while they are being investigated
