Compiler construction conference

The classic approach to compiler construction begins with lexical analysis, the division of the source text into a string of lexemes, followed by syntax analysis, also called parsing, fitting those lexemes into the grammar of the language.
We will used C++ as the implementation language for the compiler we construct in this course.
There is nothing wrong with writing a compiler in Python or COBOL, but in this course, C++ is our language of choice.
