  • How do I enable compiler in Code::Blocks?

    either the project somehow failed to configure (just remake a new code blocks project) or you have a program already running that was compiled and run from C::B.
    Codeblocks does not support more than one running executable.
    Solve this by using a task viewer (htop, task manager, etc) and kill the process..

  • Why can't i run my Code on Code::Blocks?

    CodeBlocks is an open-source, cross-platform (Windows, Linux, MacOS), and free C/C++ IDE .
    It supports many compilers, such as GNU GCC (MinGW and Cygwin) and MS Visual C++.
    It supports interactive debugging (via GNU GDB or MS CDB)..

  • Why is my Code::Blocks compiler not working?

    It is generally due to non availability of compiler or Codeblocks is not properly configured to use the compiler.
    Best way is to uninstall the current codeblocks and download the version with compiler included.
    It will be around 80–10.

    1. MB in size.
    2. Install it and most probably your problem will be solved.

Go to Settings>Compiler>Toolchain Executables. Click the "auto-detect" button for Compiler Installation Directory. It should come back with C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeBlocks\MinGW. Click the OK button and try again.
Re: Code Blocks does not compile You can try changing the mingw32.. file names in "Toolchain executables" (using the button with three dots) to just gcc.exe and g++.exe. If this does not work, uninstall C::B and the compiler and install 20.03.
