Is real analysis easier than complex analysis?
I found complex Analysis to be harder (scored the same in both though).
It was also more interesting.
The course I took, though, focused a lot less on rigorous proofs (esp. compared to real analysis) and a lot more on complex integration..

Real analysis is hard.
This topic is probably your introduction to proof-based mathemat- ics, which makes it even harder.
But I very much believe that anyone can learn anything, as long as it is explained clearly enough..
Analysis looks like it would take some ability to visualize – or at least imagine in some way – very complex combinations of functions, ordered sets, and other such fearsome creatures, and then represent them as variables.
It's a lot to keep track of all at once, a kind of mental juggling.

The complex analysis course is supposedly difficult and will even cover the Prime Number Theorem in the end.
