Computational geometry berg

  • Geometry books

Computational geometry provides a theoretical foundation involving the study of algorithms and data structures for doing geometric computations.
Computer graphics concerns the practical development of the software, hardware, and algorithms necessary to create graphics (i.e., to display geometry) on the computer screen..

  • What is the history of computational geometry?

Combinatorial computational geometry, also called algorithmic geometry, which deals with geometric objects as discrete entities.
A groundlaying book in the subject by Preparata and Shamos dates the first use of the term "computational geometry" in this sense by 1975..

4.2/5Goodreads Computational geometry emerged from the field of algorithms design and anal ysis in the late 1970s. It has grown into a recognized discipline with its own journals, conferences, and a large community of active researchers.
