Prepare Raspberry Pi
While either will work, object detection runs much faster on the Pi 4, as it has a faster processor and more memory.
In my experience, the TensorFlow Lite (TFLite) model used in this tutorial will give you about 1 frame per second (fps) on the Pi 3 and about 5 fps on the Pi 4.
