Constitutional law simple definition

×Constitutional law is a body of law that defines the role, powers, and structure of different entities within a state. It also defines the basic rights of citizens and the relationship between the central government and state, provincial, or territorial governments in federal countries. Constitutional law is based on a ratified constitution or similar formative charter and deals with the fundamental principles by which a government exercises its authority.
