Construction manager how many years of school

Individuals must meet all the following qualifications to begin the CMIT program:

A construction management degree program may be beneficial for those who want to gain an overview of the materials and methods used throughout the construction process.
Students will be able to learn about large-scale projects from the planning to completion stages.

The CMIT is a professional credential recognizing practitioners who display high educational achievement and the desire to learn how to become competent, successful Construction Managers. *Experience in each of the functional practice areas of CM is defined as time spent working in that professional discipline.

Generally speaking, Construction Managers have a relevant four-year bachelor’s degree and have practical experience in the construction industry; however, like most jobs, there are some exceptions for those with a large amount of construction work experience.
