Cosmetology brush-up course

Most students complete the program in two full semesters and a summer session

The Cosmetology program is designed for full-time students only

Because SJCC is a community college funded by the state, we are able to provide this comprehensive education at a fraction of the cost of private schools

This vocational course is designed to prepare the student for the Cosmetology Exam given by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology and entry skill level employment

Hair Braiding and Body Wrapping are done in two day sessions

HIV/AIDS and other communicable disease awareness

Diseases and disorders of the scalp

Laws and rules effecting the practice of Cosmetology

Students will be issued a diploma once course is completed
