How many criminal law classes are there in CJ?

There's really only 2 or 3 criminal law type classes.
Other fields in CJ have other majors that would likely be better to go with, I'll list some below..
Park Ranger:

Biology

Environmental Science.
Almost all that I've seen require science credits or a science degree.
Advocate:Probably better off with a social work degree but I'm not sure.

Is a criminal justice degree worth it?

Some departments, particularly federal agencies, will find degrees in non-conventional (but still applicable) areas, such as:

accounting and computer science

to be more attractive.
All that being said, having a criminal justice degree is still a positive.
I know a lot of cops with CJ degrees.
They're great cops doing a great job.

What can I do with a criminal justice degree?

The primary use for a Criminal Justice degree is for police and military who need a bachelor's degree to advance in their career.
Alternatively, it is often used as an easy route to reach law school for people who are looking towards more Slippin' Jimmy than white shoe in their legal careers.
