Which criminal procedure act

The Criminal Procedure Rules are rules about criminal court procedure in magistrates' courts, the Crown Court, the Court of Appeal and, in extradition appeal cases, the High Court.
Each Part of the Criminal Procedure Rules contains rules about parts of that procedure.

The Criminal Procedure Act includes provisions for people who are accused of a criminal act and who may have a mental disorder. If the police believe a person has done something wrong, they may have to go to court. There may be criminal proceedings.
