I have worked for DanceEast for seven years
It’s a very interesting role and there is always something different happening so you get lots of variety, along with meeting all kinds of people which I enjoy I trained at Tring Park and Trinity Laban and have taught on the Centre for Advanced Training both at DanceEast and Trinity Laban
Many jobs are based in London, but opportunities are also available with regional dance companies and organisations, as well as with touring companies
You'll need to practise daily, even when you aren't performing, and you must be able to learn new steps and styles quickly
A dancer's career can be short, rarely lasting beyond the age of 40
