Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Yleisradio (YLE), dancers from eight countries participated in the televised final.
A total of fifteen countries took part in the competition.

The Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year has been awarded since 1990, as recognition each year for the best dance music recording by an artist from Canada.
